Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Mexico and transfer to hotel

Day 2 Street Taco Tour, walk around city center and visit National Palace

Day 3 Pulque tasting, Mexico´s millenary drink. Visit Teotihuacán archeological site and transfer to the city of Puebla.

Day 4 Sweets Street & Traditional Mole. Walking tour of Puebla including the ex-convent, barrio del artista and talavera shops. Afternoon transfer to Oaxaca, evening meal at typical restaurant.

Day 5 Food Market Tour. Visit the House of Mezcal including a tasting and enjoy pre-Hispanic lunch.

Day 6 Cooking class with visit to the Central de Abastos Market. Afternoon visit to Monte Albán archeological site.

Day 7 Transfer to Chiapa de Corzo via Tehuantepec

Day 8 Learn how to make tamales with Tzoltzil woman in Zinacantán, visit village of Chamula and afternoon transfer to San Cristobal de las Casas.

Day 9 Visit local market and Cacao Museum for chocolate workshop. Evening meal at La Capitanía and Pox tasting, a traditional Mayan drink.

Day 10 Visit a cacao plantation and cacao workshop. Transfer to Palenque

Day 11 Morning visit to Palenque archeological site, transfer to Campeche with late lunch and ceviche demonstration.

Day 12 Sweet bread and Pibil Lunch with Mayan Family. Visit Uxmal and transfer to Mérida.

Day 13 Visit Santa Ana & Lucas Galvez Food Markets. Try marquecitas, trancas, ice cream. Lunch at authentic Yucatecan home turned restaurant in the yellow town of Izamal.
